Both have shorter than usual life expectancies due to abnormal stresses on the body and associated health complications. Just for contrast though, being a cut body builder with 4% body fat isn’t actually reasonably healthy either. I am in no way a proponent of obesity or body positivity advocate and am against that whole movement for many reasons. Plenty of fat guys are strong, and surely, plenty of powerlifters are strong, but also carrying around far more fat than is reasonably healthy for most peopleĪgreed, and no one is saying it is healthy (hopefully).
